The commissioning process is a personal experience, tailored to you.

In our first conversation, we’ll talk about your ideas, inspirations, symbolism, and any special meaning you’d like to include. We’ll also discuss materials, budget, and timelines. The process usually takes around 8 weeks, depending on factors like gemstone sourcing and design development.

Once I have all the details, I’ll research, sketch, and explore options to create a design within your budget. I may ask for more input before presenting the first draft for your feedback.
If you’re happy to move forward after reviewing the design, I’ll request a small deposit which will be deducted from your final quote. This covers time spent on design and sourcing if you decide not to proceed.

Next, I’ll refine the design, source gemstones, and provide you with a bespoke quote. You’ll be kept updated throughout, and once the design is final, I’ll send technical drawings (sometimes digitally) to show you exactly how it will look.
If you’re happy with the design and quote, I’ll ask for a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due upon completion. I’ll also provide an estimated delivery timeline.
