Louisa Scott is an Irish jewellery designer and goldsmith based on the east coast of Ireland.
She designs and creates jewellery by combining traditional skills with modern techniques, drawing inspiration from her love of the natural world, as well as ancient design and craftsmanship.
She offers a fully bespoke jewellery service, where she can design a one-of-a-kind piece just for you or customise one of her existing designs with alternative metals or gemstones.
I collaborate closely with clients to create pieces that are uniquely theirs. Whether it’s designing a one-of-a-kind piece or customising an existing design from my collection with alternative metals or gemstones, each creation is made with care and attention to detail. "I love the whole process of Jewellery making; each stage of creating a design brings its own enjoyment and fulfilment. From researching and drawing ideas, sourcing sumptuous gemstones, to seeing the piece come alive on the bench. A design will be created either in metal, wax, or on occasion through CAD. Whilst I develop my own knowledge and creative experience, I also work with a number of specialists in Ireland for skilled processes such as casting, engraving and setting"
