Bo Tree Ring with pink tourmaline
The Bo Tree Ring draws inspiration from the sacred Bodhi tree, under which the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment, and from the spirals often found in ancient Celtic design. The ring reflects the spiritual and cultural heritage of these two lands.
Set with a cabochon pink tourmaline in the centre (8x10mm) and accented with two round brilliant-cut pink tourmalines or fire opals (3mm), the ring balances bold colour with delicate detail. The combination of organic leaf shapes and Celtic spirals creates a piece that feels both comfortable and wearable, while carrying a meaningful symbol of growth, reflection, and connection to nature.

Finger Size
If you’re unsure of your finger size, the easiest way to find out is to visit a local jeweller, most are happy to measure your ring size for you.
Alternatively, you can use the sizing chart provided in the images or online for guidance. Please note that measuring at home can sometimes be inaccurate, and rings of the same size may fit slightly differently depending on the design and width of the ring.
Making Process
I created this design from a block of hard wax, shaping the main form by filing and carving, before adding the flanking leaves in a softer wax and engraving the spirals. The ring was then cast in metal using the lost wax method. It is reproduced using the casting process before setting and hand finishing in my studio using traditional goldsmithing tools and techniques. Slight variations in the finish and gemstones may occur, making each one unique.
Hallmarking
This ring will be hallmarked by the Dublin Assay Office and stamped with my makers mark.

Christmas Ordering
I’m an independent maker, and each piece is crafted by hand in my Co. Down studio. Because of this, lead times will vary, especially during the busy Christmas period, so thank you for bearing that in mind when ordering.
If an item is listed as “Available to Order”, this means I already have it in progress in the workshop. These pieces can usually be completed and ready to ship within 2 weeks.
If an item is listed as “Pre-Order”, the longer lead times outlined in the product description will apply (typically 4–6 weeks).
If you’re hoping to receive a piece in time for Christmas and are unsure whether it will arrive in time, please feel free to get in touch before ordering. I’m always happy to let you know what I currently have in stock, what’s already in progress, and how quickly I can ship.
