Herringbone Zig Zag Earrings

£125.00Price

The Herringbone zig zag Earrings are inspired by the traditional herringbone pattern found in Irish tweed fabrics, a motif long associated with it's hardwearing nature and the craftsmanship and weaving traditions of County Donegal.

The herringbone motif itself has been used across cultures since ancient times, its interlocking zigzag form resembles the bones of the herring fish.

These everyday earrings are engraved on both sides with a different pattern, allowing them to be worn two ways. Inspired by the richness of detail found etched into ancient Irish gold jewellery and in traditional Sri Lankan dress.
