Soul Fish Pendant
The Soul Fish Pendant is a bold, sculptural piece in solid sterling silver. Originally hand-carved in wax and cast using the ancient lost wax casting method, it is now created from a mould of the original design and finished by hand in my studio.
The fish is an enduring symbol found across cultures, often representing freedom, adaptability, and abundance. For me, it connects to my time spent living by the sea in both Ireland and Sri Lanka, two island nations shaped by water, craft, and tradition.
This pendant has a beautiful weight and presence, with a smooth, tactile surface that feels grounding to wear. Each one is finished with silver toggle ends and paired with a pink or blue cotton cord, or can also be worn on a chain if preferred.

Making Process
This design was hand-carved from a block of hard wax, with some of the granulation detail applied from a softer wax before being cast in metal using the lost wax casting method. The piece is recreated using this same process, and each one is hand-finished in my studio using traditional goldsmithing tools and techniques. Slight variations in the finish may occur, making each piece unique.

Christmas Ordering
I’m an independent maker, and each piece is crafted by hand in my Co. Down studio. Because of this, lead times will vary, especially during the busy Christmas period, so thank you for bearing that in mind when ordering.
If an item is listed as “Available to Order”, this means I already have it in progress in the workshop. These pieces can usually be completed and ready to ship within 2 weeks.
If an item is listed as “Pre-Order”, the longer lead times outlined in the product description will apply (typically 4–6 weeks).
If you’re hoping to receive a piece in time for Christmas and are unsure whether it will arrive in time, please feel free to get in touch before ordering. I’m always happy to let you know what I currently have in stock, what’s already in progress, and how quickly I can ship.
