Wee Fishy Pendant with engraving
A solid silver fish with an engraving inspired by a Neoloithic pottery vessel found in Co. Carlow, Ireland. Concentric banded lines sweep across the body of the fish, each line meticulously hand engraved by a master engraver.
From pottery to metal, this design is small nod to the ancient craftsmen of this land, an old design that translates seamlessly to the modern wearer.
The model wears the wee fishy pendant without engraving though the size is the same

Making Process
To create this piece I used the ancient technique of wax carving, and had it cast into silver using the lost wax casting method and hand engraved by a master engraver on both sides. Each pendant is made to order and finished by hand in my studio using traditional goldsmith tools and techniques. Slight variations in the finish may occur, making each one unique.
